On Monday, Year 6 took part in a Polar Exploration workshop. This was led by Dan, a real explorer who has travelled across the globe and met many wonderful animals. Through the workshop, the children learnt all about the polar regions and the challenges of surviving in such extreme climates.
They also had the opportunity to handle artefacts from a range of Dan’s previous expeditions. The children (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed the session and asked some wonderful questions.
