Sports Week

Last week was our annual sports week where the children took part in a variety of different sports including dodgeball, football and gymnastics.

It was an exciting week for the children to engage in a range of sports and it was lovely to see the children having fun and developing new skills.

This week also included our EYFS, KS1 and KS2 sports days where again the children showcased their fantastic skills and sportsmanship.

The EYFS sports day involved egg and spoon, bean bag throw, football dribble and a hoop challenge as well as running races. All the children worked incredibly hard and should be very proud of themselves.

The KS1 sports day included egg and spoon, speed stacking, football dribble and speed bounce as well as running races. The PUMAS were the overall winners for the KS1 sports day. Well done Pumas!

The KS2 sports day had a wide range of activities including basketball, agility run, javelins as well as football goal scoring challenge. The children also participated in running races as well as relays for each year group. The LEOPARDS were victorious, winning the KS2 sports day! Well done Leopards. The week was a huge success.

A large group of children, divided into different colored teams (red, blue, green, yellow), are assembled outdoors on a playground or court. They appear to be doing some warm-up exercises or receiving instructions, with an adult in the center leading them. There are cones and markers on the ground, suggesting various activity stations.
Two children are competing in a cup stacking race on tables set up on a grassy track. In the background, other children in red shirts are lined up, possibly waiting for their turn or watching another event. Spectators are visible behind a barrier.

A large group of children, all wearing green shirts (likely a team), are gathered together, celebrating and raising a trophy. They look very excited and proud, suggesting they've won a competition. Tents are visible in the background, possibly for shade or team areas.
Younger children are running a race on the grassy track. They are spread across multiple lanes, and adult spectators are watching from the side.

Several young children are practicing or playing with footballs on a grassy area marked with white lines (likely a mini-pitch). They are spread out and appear to be working on individual ball skills or a small-group game.
A group of children in blue shirts are gathered together, many with their arms raised in celebration or excitement. They look like another team, possibly posing after an event or getting ready for one. A trophy is visible among them. Tents are in the background.
