WINNERS! On 15th October, our Y5/6 Tag Rugby team won the Leigh Academies Trust Primary Tag Rugby competition. This is the second year in a row that Leigh Academy Hartley have won this competition! The children loved wearing our new competition t-shirts – they looked great! The team demonstrated excellent skill, communication and teamwork throughout the day. Hartley were unbeaten in the group stage scoring an impressive 21 tries in 6 matches.
Hartley beat Dartford in the semi-finals 3 – 2. The final was against Paddock Wood. It was an extremely competitive final with some fantastic running and tagging skills on show from both teams. Hartley won 1 – 0!
