This afternoon, Year 6 were so fortunate to hear from two people who lived through World War II. Jack and Judy were ten and five years old when war broke out – they told the children all about evacuation and rationing, and shared their experiences of air raids. Year 6 asked some fantastic questions and were so excited to view some real shrapnel. What a fantastic experience!
