Nursery visited Hartley Library

Our unit of inquiry this term is ‘How we organise ourselves’. The central idea is ‘organisations exist to assist our community’. The nursery children walked to our local library this week as part of our inquiry. They learnt how to borrow books from the library and about the role of a librarian. The nursery children had a fantastic time exploring new books with the nursery staff and parent helpers.
